• The National Professional Science Master's Association (NPSMA) recently asked Davidson Communications to create two collateral pieces for its participation at BIO2009, the premier biosciences conference recently held in Atlanta. One of the 8.5 x 11 pieces describes the PSM degree's increasingly important role in the biosciences and was used at a reception the NPSMA hosted. The other flyer is a workshop description.

The MetroWest Daily News covered the issue with a story about Sharon Ralston and Andrew Aylesworth, a courageous Framingham couple who want to help others who have experienced recurrent pregnancy loss to obtain coverage for fertility treatment from their insurance carriers. Sharon testified about this before the Massachusetts Joint Financial Services Committee in support of Senate Bill 485. WCVB-TV, Channel 5, continued the coverage with interviews with both Rebecca Lubens, RESOLVE of the Bay State's executive director, and Sharon and Andrew.

The NPSMA is a collaborative of professional science master's (PSM) degree program directors, faculty, administrators, alumni, and students that supports PSM degree initiatives. Founded in late 2007, the NPSMA hired us to write a marketing plan and develop its brand through the creation of brochures for its three major constituent markets: academia, employers, and students/alumni. We also have developed promotional material for INC, its November inaugural conference in Atlanta, GA.
RESOLVE is a nonprofit infertility support, education, and advocacy organization based in Washington, D.C. It received a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to provide workshops on embryo donation that were held during existing infertilty education conferences in Massachusetts and California. Davidson Communications promoted these conferences through a combination of advertising, public relations and clinician education activities.
